The original idea was "air pockets"

This game is unfinished. The original idea was to swim as deep as possible, but it felt boring so I changed the entire scope and idea of the project. It then led to me spending two days trying to figure out how to program the shark's behavior, which at this point I don't think is even in the current build. Ran outta time. Anyway here's your swimming simulator.

I could not grab the coin because my game froze whenever it came into view.

Interesting way to use the theme!

Even if there isn't much gameplay yet, this way it's still easier to switch direction of where you want to take the game. A swimming simulator where you just discover places underwater (caves with air pockets and some cool secrets?) could be fun? With some relaxing ambient music and background sounds it could be an immersive experience to relax after school/work. Also, using up HP instead of dying immediately after running out of air is a nice touch.

By coincidence I've made a similar type of game for a jam before, so it's interesting to see how others approach the idea differently.

I got to the bottom! I think swimming to the bottom could be fun if there are more and more dangerous creatures the closer to the bottom you get. Almost like a swimming platformer, kinda.

For some reason it's really laggy when you enter into fullscreen.. Not sure why.
